We believe your biological data is your property. In an age of surveillance capitalism, The New Spring operates on a "Local-First, Zero-Knowledge" philosophy.
1. The "black box" philosophy
Traditional health apps upload your cycle data, mood logs, and symptom tracking to cloud servers where it can be aggregated, sold, or subpoenaed. The New Spring is designed differently. Your "Health Vault" is encrypted on your device. When we use AI to analyze your patterns, the computation happens locally or via ephemeral sessions that do not store your raw inputs.
2. What we collect
We only collect the absolute minimum required to facilitate your account:
- Email Address: Used solely for authentication and delivering purchsed protocols.
- Payment Data: Processed securely by Stripe; we never see your credit card numbers.
- Anonymized Aggregates: We may aggregate de-identified data (e.g., "80% of users report better sleep with Magnesium") to improve our protocols, but this data can never be traced back to you.
3. Zero-Knowledge Architecture
We cannot sell your data because we do not have it. Your deep health metrics—your hormone quiz results, your cycle logs—live in a secure sandbox that we cannot acccess without your explicit, temporary permission for customer support.
4. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. Ever.
